Finally, I went to Redang for holiday. It's been real fun with all the snorkelling, squid jigging and photoshooting. The scenery is very beautiful and the sea water is an envy to the western penisular counterpart.

I arrived at the island just in time to participate in the Squid Jigging Fiesta, an event to promote local culture. It was fun to try fishing out squid without any baits! Not to mention the blackish ink (I can't remember the name) squirted to your face. My team was placed fifth and one of my team-mate got third for the longest squid.

I woke up at 5.50 in the morning to capture this shot and spent the next hour feeding the mosquitoes.

Side note: Redang Island is located offshore Terengganu, Malaysia. A beautiful place worth visiting.

awesome shot but looks almost over edited with the pure yellow in the bg

Thanks for the comment. I've checked again with the original copy of this image and the ray in the background is actually about the same.
Perhaps, I should let everyone knows that this is a HDR shot with 5 shots of different exposures.

Amazing shot, the colours are so vibrant! This is great usage of HDR, I'm going to try something similar when I'm on holiday this year. :+fav: :)
